Catherine has been an aesthetician for 37 years, starting in 1988. She was mentored at Ummelina Int’l. Day Spa in Seattle by Nina Ummel; under Nina’s expert guidance she acquired valuable knowledge and began developing her own personal style of skin care techniques. From there Catherine went to the Coeur d’Alene Resort Spa in Idaho, where she was the Lead Aesthetician for 25 years. She managed and trained the aesthetic staff as well as tended to her own clientele, and twice had the opportunity to receive some training in Paris, France. In 2020 she and her husband, along with their three German Shepherds, came back to the beautiful Pacific Northwest to be closer to family, and she joined the team at Oceana Day Spa where she has currently been for the last 4 years.

Her focus has always been working with people to help them achieve their best skin, using wholesome products and some modern tools (high-tech, high touch), and providing a calm, relaxing environment that is truly an escape from the noise and bustle of the world. Inner peace, outer beauty.
